When we reported in early July that Ubisoft would be shutting down online features for 15 older games on September 1, in order to focus resources on providing great experiences for newer or more popular titles, the response from the gamer community was overwhelming. Ubisoft responded today by saying that only DLC and online features will be affected and that game owners "will still be able to access, play or re-download the body".

As stated in our article, only DLC and online features will be affected. The owners of these games can still access, play, or re-download the ontology. Our team is working with our partners to update this information on all store pages and to evaluate all available options for players who will be affected when these games' online services go offline on September 1, 2022.
We've always done everything we can to make these older games available to players under the best possible conditions, and that's what we're working on.
A number of Ubisoft games, including Assassin's Creed: Unchained HD, have been removed from the Steam store, almost exactly the same as the games on the closed service list.
